The 2023 Ras Tailteann winner, Dillon Corkery visited us today with his

A monumental achievement from Banteer man Dillon, the first Cork man to win this race which has been ongoing for 70 years

Dillon follows on a proud tradition of Banteer cyclists, Mick Cahill RIP, came 3rd in this race, 50 years ago, back in 1973 and Paudie O’Brien came 2nd in 2007

Dillon is pictured with his coach from his Kanturk Cycling days, Danny Curtin, Kevin Roche, Martin Lyons and James Murphy, Kanturk Credit Union along with Pat Tarrant.

There is a victory parade for Dillon in Banteer tonight @ 8pm from the square to acknowledge this historic achievement
