2022 KANTURK CU STUDENT BURSARY AWARDS

On Friday last, the winning recipients of the 2022 Student Bursary Awards, along with their families, were invited to an evening in Kanturk Credit Union. Chair Desmond Daly welcomed everyone and congratulated all the students who were the lucky winners in 2022. He also welcomed back 3rd level 2021 winners James Bourke and Sam Hopkins who were collecting the second part of their bursary awards for year two. Kevin Roche, Kanturk Credit Union, stated “due to the increase in cost of living and pressure on parents and students alike when it comes to education costs, our Board of Directors decided to give away two extra 2nd level bursary awards and one extra 3rd level bursary award for 2022, and we would like to thank them greatly for this gesture”. The Chair, Desmond Daly, concluded the evening by presenting the winners with their bursary awards and wishing them the very best of luck with their studies as they continue in second and third level education
