Kanturk Credit Union has seen a significant growth in its loan book in the past 12 months and savings have also increased substantially. Even though the initial signs of economic recovery are clear, it is only right that every credit union continues to make responsible and prudent decisions going forward. Kanturk Credit Union is pleased to announce a 20% rebate will be paid out to members this year, making the cost of borrowing from Kanturk Credit Union very competitive with €125,856 being returned to our members who borrowed.
Martin Lyons from Kanturk Credit Union said: “With the signs of economic stabilisation presenting themselves, Kanturk Credit Union is now very much looking to the future and how we can enhance our services to our members. There are opportunities for the Credit Union to grow and strengthen and this will be our priority going forward.
On Friday, 16th December, the Credit Union will hold its AGM in the Edel Quinn Hall starting at 8pm. We invite all members to attend and we are happy to answer any queries you may have on the night or at any stage by calling into the Credit Union office. There will be refreshments for attendees on the night and a draw for Christmas hampers and vouchers from local businesses.
