KANTURK CREDIT UNION SPONSORS MAIN PRIZE OF €2,000 FOR KANTURK & DISTRICT COMMUNITY COUNCIL’S FUNDRAISING EVENT, THE KUBE.                                                                                                                                                           
The Kube, sponsored by Kanturk Credit Union, will take place on Saturday, 30th January in the Edel Quinn Hall. This is a fundraiser for the Kanturk and District Community Council to help with the ongoing maintenance and upgrading of the Edel Quinn Hall, Trade Union Hall, Greenane Park and O’ Brien Street Park. The fundraiser is also an opportunity for a club or charity to win €2,000. To enter a club or charity, you have to nominate a contestant to play the Kube. The club/contestant must raise €200 on their sponsorship card which can be picked up from any member of the Community Council to enter. Tickets for the night are available from any member of the committee and are priced at €12.50 each.
The Kube fundraising event will be launched at Kanturk Credit Union on Friday, 15th January between 10.30am and 2pm. Sample games will be set up in the credit union to allow contestants and supporters to attempt the games.
